Theta is a non-profit online science fiction web project, inspired by our favorite comics and TV shows we loved growing up, featuring diverse voice acting talent online and made using the Halo series as our visual engine (within the boundaries of Microsoft and Bungie’s game content usage rules of course).
I've wanted to do a sci-fi web-series for as long as I've loved sci-fi (we're talking six here). It wasn't until after I discovered the medium of machinima, I knew how. The medium, while not without limits, would give the series the visual element it needs.
For a long time we've wanted to continue this series. There are directions in this story we want to take, parts of our universe yet to be explored, characters waiting to be introduced, action scenes we don't know if we can ever pull off, and jokes we'd like to try to find out whether we're even funny. We hope all this comes together, and that we can bring it to a memorable close. We may have released one episode in three parts, but the story of Theta is far from finished.
